Heroes
Cobalt Blue is gangster torn from the crime-ridden streets of the 1940s and blasted into space to battle Nazis on the moon. Stoic, mysterious and enigmatic, Cobalt rarely speaks, and when he does, it's brief and to-the-point. Little is known of his background, and even his accent is hard to place. A morally ambiguous loner, he became a notorious figure in the American underworld despite having no clear allegiance to any major crimeboss. Cobalt is an expert sharpshooter with either a tommy gun or his favoured twin pistols, and a fearsome street fighter. During his adventures on the moon, Cobalt accumulates a diverse group of companions, despite all indications he would rather be left alone. These include Juliette, the musketeer, and the sentient cloud Cumulus.
Milady Juliette de la Rochelle is captain of the King's Musketeers in 17th-century Paris. She was kidnapped by the Galactic Reich via the Chrono-Gate. She is forced to do their bidding in return for the vital oxygen pills needed to survive on the moon
Colonel Cumulus Randolf Huntingdon-Harker - a sentient cloud created by the British resistance three years in the future to spy on the Nazis after they conquered Britain. After the Tyrant-Tula finished off the underground resistance, Cumulus found the Chrono-Gate and travelled back in time to help Cobalt complete his mission and prevent the Nazi invasion ever happening.
Villains
Skoll is the sinister commander of the Galactic Reich, and is rarely without his pet giant tarantula, Fenris. Skoll is believed to have provided much of the demented genius required for the Galactic Reich's emergence, pheonix like, from the ashes of the Third Reich. The human-animal hybrid Tyrant-Tula and an army of giant preying mantises are all alledgedly his creations. Skoll is wicked and cruel, and thinks nothing of killing even his own men on a whim.
Tyrant-tula - A bizarre experiment turns Fenris into an eight-limbed humanoid monster which shoots a death-ray from it's eyes.
Sister Skoll - Silent asssain.
Others
The Gizmowitch and The Clownwitch - Mysterious figures who watch events with interest from an unknown location. The Clownwitch is very taken with Juliette, and impressed with Cobalt's bravery.
Professor Professional Penguin PHD - The Clownwitch's sidekick, an extremely knowledgable talking penguin.
Real life figures
J. Edgar Hoover was the first director of the FBI and turned it into the legendary crime-fighting organisation we know today.
Winston Churchill - A real life hero, the Prime Minister who lead Britain to victory against the Axis powers in World War II.
